I know this has been discussed before. I'm ready to get into the suppressor game after seeing a couple up close.

I like Silencershop but wanted input on using the online guys or trying to find a local dealer

Looking at the Dead Air Nomad L

I liked Silencer Shop because of the ease of doing fingerprints on their kiosk. Don't have to mess with ink and fingerprint cards. I don't have any experience with any of the other options.

I set up a trust that I purchased from Silencer Co or someone like that for around $100 bucks. Had the suppressor shipped to my local FFL that was very familiar with the process. I don't remember any part of the process being difficult, other than the wait.

Agree silencershop kiosk (defender outdoors) worked well for me.

Lots of options/decisions. Pistol or rifle? If primary function is supressing ar's, I wish I would be known about the "flow through" suppressors that reduce blowback. Huxwrx I think is the brand

Kiosk works great. You will have great time in about a year to15 months.

If your local ffl has a kiosk. They are part of the silencershop network and I believe they have some sort of revenue sharing setup from the sale of the suppressor whether you bought it online or through the store.

I also used silencershop kiosk at my FFL, the Houston Gun Club. I like using silencer shop because it is easy to shop, track progress and generally have everything in one place on my account.

If you are in the Houston area, I also recommend the Houston Gun Club. They were very helpful explaining the process, downloading everything into my account, they have a lawyer they recommend for trusts and he got mine to me 6 hours after I called him and they have a notary on site that can sign your trust when you bring it in.

My items in jail are CGS Hydra, CGS Helios, CGS Hyperion and Rugged Obsidian 9. They said current wait time is 6-8 months.

I have the hydra AL you are going to love it. So light and so quite.

I got the Dead Air Nomad L and love it. All my buddies who have other suppressors and shoot it think it's the quietest they've heard. Got it from Waymore Silencers in Houston and they're a great outfit

If you havent bought yet, check out pewscience (he's an Ag who does magic engineering wizardry to analyze suppessors).

Theres a can out there perfect for every need, just have to figure out which one is going to fit your use case best (always a battle between mounting system, weight, how quiet, durability, etc).

Just shot my newly liberated cans for the first time yesterday and I'm mad I didn't buy some years ago.

The best thing I liked about Silencer Shop was that I was already in there system for the next one.
