Need a T-top for a Bluewave pure bay 2000. Anyone have a recommendation for either dfw or Houston? Would prefer not to have to tow to Houston but I may get better options. What is one of these costing these days?_

You're probably looking at $2,500-3,000 depending on options. More if you want fiberglass

You are going to be very limited in DFW. All the dealers who sell center consoles in that area will usually order the boat from the manufacturer who usually get their t-tops from various manufacturers in Florida.
Tops and Towers in Houston build quality t-tops.
I would highly recommend contacting Blue Wave and get them to tell you what T-Top they recommend for their boats.
Better bay boat companies install aluminum bolster plates under their floors for attaching the T-Top down to.
Don't let someone just arbitrarily use lag screws through your floor to attach the t-top.
Also, if possible, don't tie the t-top to your console unless Blue Wave recommends it.
If not it can cause stress cracks on your console or, even worse, make your console break lose from the floor.
Ideally you want the t-top to be tap and bolted into aluminum bolster plates under your floor. OR bolted through the floor and into the stringer system for strength.
Contact Blue Wave .... they should be able to give you a drawing/template of where the bolster plates are and where to mount the t-top mounting flanges.
