I know costs have been through the roof for drillers. I was quoted $35/ft drilled and cased. Is that fairly reasonable these days? Mason County.

I've been getting quotes around Montgomery county, and the price for a 200ft well, 220v pump, surge tank etc was $10,500. Is $35/ft just for the hole and casing?

I believe I paid $26.50 per foot in central Texas back in March. Was like $14K total all in finished product for 260ft deep.

Yes, $35 is just the hole and casing. I was on a 3 month wait list with a guy who was at $26/ft, but every time I call it extends by a month (we're on month 6), so I just gave up on it.

$24k complete to 400ft, +/-$35/ft in Brazos county.

Just pulled up my quote and for drilled and cased it was $26.25/ft.

If you're willing to part with the info, who gave you the quote?

It was a prominent BCS company.

I recently paid $35/ft down to 350. Drilled and cased only. Larger hole case with 8".

Thank you sir. I think 35 is on the upper end but this guy can do it in a couple weeks so it's worth it I suppose.

Siegert quoted me about $7500 to pull, flush and replace my pump in BCS. Said with a new pressure tank I'd be close to 10k. I don't think I'll pull the trigger on that.

I'll also point out that all companies in Montgomery county were three months out to get one drilled. They're all super busy as apparently a bunch of wells that were drilled 30years ago and steel cased have started to fail so they're having to drill everyone new wells.

We are moving out to Alpine soon and have a few places narrowed down. Well on site was a HUGE prerequisite since the cost is so high. I spent a day just tarding this and looking at how deep some of the wells are in Brewster and Jeff Favid counties. Some of the wells are so old and still in operation.
