Found a bunch of these this weekend while trimming deer stand lanes at my hunting club in Angelina County. I'm no shroom expert but was told they are cauliflower mushrooms and they're edible, supposedly good in a soup, and have the texture of a noodle when cooked. Anybody ever tried them before?

I'd never eat wild mushrooms, mainly cause I'd probably pick the poisonous ones.
