I did it for a Euro mount. ~80 yds with a 6.5 CM with the ELD-X.

First time using that particular pill. Ran about 15-20 yards.

Exit hole was massive.

Had some deer hunters come out to our place in the mid 90's and my grandfather stressed and stressed and stressed to these guys that our wool sheep would be in a couple of the pastures & they were not to be shot. He even showed them pictures of them & made it very clear that it would be a $3500 fine of one was shot. A guy from Pennsylvania was in our west pasture for about 5 minutes when we hear "BOOM THUD". We pull up to blind and guy is claiming he shot an exotic. After that guy gave my grandpa $3500 he told me and my dad that he would just keep doing that if he could get $3500 for every sheep.

Precision Rifle Inc. (PRI) Delta, the flat base/triangle version, in FDE. 10" version. It's carbon Fiber but not as light as other carbon fiber hanguards. They make a circular version as well.

It's rock solid but has proprietary attachments. Mine came with the three pic rails.

PRI is high quality stuff.

OK... now we KNOW you are messing with us.

6.5Cm + only ran 20 yards + massive exit hole. REALLY?!?!?

What really happened was the 6.5CM bounced off of the ram. The sound and tickle scared it, and it proceeded to run away. However, it tripped and fell onto an old fencepost or sharp rock or something, creating the lethal damage you witnessed.



*since we don't know each other well... I was an early 6.5CM adopter and have taken many ribbings for using it on everything up to and including elk. I enjoy poking fun at the stereotype every time a success story is seen w/ 6.5CM, which is often*

how about the entry hole? The last two deer I killed ( both less than 100 yards )I had to really hunt to even find it. Luckily both fell where they were hit because there wouldn't have been much of a blood trail. Same caliber and ammo used (143g ELD-X)

Never found the entry through all the mangy (and stinky) wool. But I didn't spend much time looking. I took it right before sundown.

Yeah that was me that did the pig hunt.

Same place. This is a separate part of the property from where the hogs are. It's a much larger area called the "Meat Park"

Random animals roaming around. The owner will text me whenever he gets something he thinks I'll be interested in.

There are certain mounts I'm after and I don't really have the opportunities to go on far off hunts.

Wanting to take my soon to be 11 yr old on a good pig hunt. I imagine you recommend this place? Hows the lodging?

Strongly recommended for what it is. Nothing fancy but great people own it and run it. More hogs than you can imagine.

Do you grind it into burger or cut it up?

Actually donated the meat. Having a euro mount done.

I took it right at sundown and had to book it back to Houston for toddler dad duty.
