Have 2 Code Blacks from Covert. Tired of replacing batteries and interested in getting solar panels for them. Am I better off or limited to the solar panels offered by Covert, or does anyone have any recommendations?

Looks like I just need the panel, wiring, and rechargeable AA's. I did see where they have an option to run the solar panel through a 6V battery... any thoughts on that setup?

Also going to be looking to add solar paneled cameras... any recommendations?

We use any standard 12v solar charger, hooked to a 12v battery for a feeder type, then the 12v to 6v converter cable from the battery to the covert that they sale. I have one been running for a couple years

The new WC30-A cameras are 12v and can use any 12v solar panel that'll plug into it. The code blacks are 6v
