It's not above federal law. It is the same as a state legalizing pot. The feds can still lock you up for it but the local and state police will leave you alone.

I believe we need more of these kind of actions. The over-reaching greedy federal government needs to be told to shove it up their ass as many times as possible by the states.

In what I have read about the law, so far, is that it opens the door to purchasing SBRs that was closed completely despite the Federal laws. Unlike the suppressor law in Texas that does away with the need to follow Federal law on the topic with certain conditions ie made in Texas stay in Texas. But that may be reading it wrong.
