Has anyone had any experience with Faxon Firearms with regards to their barrels? Building a long range AR-15 with a stripped Aero Precision M4e1 upper. 500-800 yards for coyotes. Will also need recs on gas blocks and quality bcg's?

They are good barrels. Hell, mine is a PA barrel and it will reach those ranges just fine (18" stainless).

Get an adjustable gas block and any popular brand BCG, nickel boron coated if you can. I like Gunfighter charging handles but there are plenty of other good ones.

I am a single stage trigger guy myself, dont like the creep on a 2 stage. geissle, QMS, etc.

My run and gun 5.56 is a pencil barrel faxon.

I've taken out out past 600 yards several times and made hits, and thats with factory xm193. Its been a great barrel and I'd happily buy another from them.

Faxon is good stuff. I prefer Odin, mainly because it's easier for me to get but faxon is right there with them.

TheEyeGuy made me a big fan of Odin when he built my 6.5 CM gas gun.

I then got a light weight 16" Odin 6.5 Grendel that's lights out.

I have a Faxon 6.5 CM 18" pencil barrel.

I'm happy with it for sure but I don't shoot it that much. Just during deer season.

On top of top notch manufacturing, Faxon is great people. No hesitation giving them money.

I already have a LaRue MST 2 stage straight bow trigger to throw in it. Thanks on the reviews! Looks like they have the 20" stainless heavy Fluted match barrels n stock.
