I need to send dad some beef for Father's Day. Never done online or mail order meat. I know Omaha is the most well known. Who do y'all recommend?

A bar N is Aggies and good people.

Another idea would be to have your butcher freeze what you want (or buy from his frozen selection) and ship on dry ice.

The place I buy has pretty much every cut of local beef and popular 44 farms cuts in the frozen area.

This is one of my best friend's website that sells grass fed beef. He is long time rancher and a fellow Ag. Great family. However, he runs a smaller operation then then 44 farms and Snake River guys so sometimes he sells out of his supply each month. Just trying to pass along another option and give a guy some advertising.

We really like the steaks from Taste of Texas, a restaurant in Houston. They have some packages that really work out well.

Completely agree. If you enjoy dry aged beef it is top of the line. BSD turned me on to them several years back and haven't ordered from anywhere else. Use the "helluva deal" portion of the site. The mismatched new Yorks and ribeyes are the best deal for dry aged beef you can find.

We order from a place in Bryan and I pickup but they will ship. It's the best meat we've ever eaten. (Wocka Wocka)

They're also super sweet and family run. I didn't know they existed until I had an ad in IG.

Note: don't buy out their tenderloin or ribeye or picanha please…

He wont be disappointed. I have ordered a LOT of beef from there and it is by far the best steaks I have cooked.

"Aggies"...well sort of. Van is an Ag, Gregg (founder of the feast) is tech. Several ranch managers are likely Ags but haven't met them.

But yes good people.
