RTIC and Yeti aren't made here.

Cordova and Orion both look like beasts. Frio are made in TX. Pelican look pretty awesome too.
There's several others made in USA.

Anyone have experience with any US made coolers?

I bought a 95QT Pelican cooler 7yrs ago, from Walmart of all places! It was a bit cheaper than the Yeti's at the time and I knew Pelican made top of the line hardcase photography travel equipment that most pros used, so assumed the same engineering and quality went into the coolers. The other big kicker for me was the hinged and easy locking latches vs. the Yeti rubber latch (just not a fan).

I've drug it all over the country since and except from some engrained dirt and road burns, it looks the same as the day I bought it and I've never had a single problem with it...even the hinges are still going strong! It keeps ice and drinks cold as long as any Yeti I've seen and it's as heavy as any of the other robust, plastic injected molded coolers (so no bonus points there). I fully expect it to last another 10-20yrs. I think it was one of the earlier versions of Pelican coolers in this category, so I'm sure they've only gotten better!

I do own a couple of smaller, soft-sided Yeti coolers and have been pleased with those also.

+1 for Pelican. Really great cooler that gets forgotten among the Yeti/Artic discussions.

I got one after having good experiences with their cases ...for my uh..."photography equipment" too.

Pelican's are freaking heavy. Dad and I both have 65qt coolers. Out of all the coolers I own, it's the one I use least.

I also own 2 Yeti 45's, Blue 35, 80 and 100, 2 Yeti (new design) Roadies, RTIC 20 and 52qt Ultra Light... I'm sure I'm missing one or two...

Couldn't agree more. I'd take a free igloo over a free pelican

Don't own one. But you can customize them.

ORCA makes their coolers in the US. Pretty similar to all the other roto-molded coolers out there. I've got a 40, no complaints.

Igloos are made in Katy. The materials are largely made in the Houston area.

I love my 70 qt Igloo IMX cooler. I got it on sale a while back for like 40% off.

I have a 45qt Yukon that is allegedly made in the USA. Like it so far. Held ice for 3 days in 100 degree south tx heat with a decent amount of opening

It looks like their hammocks and neck gaiters are made in the USA, but the coolers and drinkware are made elsewhere.

Some igloos are made in Katy. Others aren't. I've definitely been eyeing some of the ones made here.

Icelandic coolers are made in Abilene. They are pricey, but really nice.

What is your use case? I own yeti, rtic, coleman coolers, mixture of rotomold and soft sided. For 90% of MY applications, the coleman xtreme cooler is the best of the bunch from a cost/weight perspective. I just read that 70% of the coleman hard sided are produced in Wichita or New Braunfels.

Grizzly Coolers are made in Iowa. I have a 20 Qt that rides in the bed of the truck and keeps drinks cold for 3-4 days, perfect for weekends spent at soccer baseball whatever kids weekend activities.

Aggie-owned. Made in US (Bozeman, MT/Charlotte, NC).

Slightly different concept for coolers - pretty handy to be able to store extras to take with you.
