Friend contacted Americase for warranty work on gun case and was told they no longer make or repair gun cases. WTF? I have 3 cases from them and think they are quality albeit a bit heavy, Anybody know back story?

I think it's just a matter of them focusing on their primary product lines of industrial transport cases. They stopped making gun cases a couple of years ago.

They were not exhibiting at the Dallas Safari Club convention this year and I wondered why. Now I know.
Going to be difficult getting repairs if baggage handlers do what they can do.

They are also not fulfilling their lifetime warranty. I have an Americase in which the foam has rotted out. The best they would do was ship me replacement foam for me to replace myself. They also told me that once they're out of foam, that's it.
