Planted a forest pansy redbud this spring...has been doing well aside from something eating the leaves. At first it was just a few leaves so I didn't care too much, but now it seems nearly every leaf is like 25% eaten. I sprayed Sevin last week and there is plenty of new damage since then. So what is doing this and how do I stop it?

You can spray your Redbuds with Horticultural oil which is a natural pesticide

Sevin works as a stomach poison on chewing insects, so it should have worked. If you are sure this is new damage, you can try Orthene as a second choice.
Yeah, well, sometimes nothing is a real cool hand
