Headed to fish Falcon next week any advice to a newbie?

First time bass fishing at Falcon. Staying in Zapata week of April 25.
3 in the group. Experienced fisherman in a bass boat with all the fixins…first time at Falcon.
Any advice?

Go by Falcon Lake Tackle and talk to Bendele - he can get you what you need and tell you where to go. Literally and figuratively(if needed).

Great guy, willing to help folks succeed at catching not just fishing.

If you strike out fishing structure there are a lot of small bass along the dam. Crank baits and worms.

Thanks for the info gentlemen. Looking forward to the trip. I'll mode definitely leave early enough to catch the Tackle shop. I'm curious about the Rage Craw in Falcon Lake Craw color.
