Any of y'all come up with a decent method of locking a small generator to a truck bed or flat bed trailer? I realize nothing is 100% fool proof, but looking for a way to deter all but the truly dedicated folks from walking off with it from motel parking lots, etc.

We had a 3000 in an expanded metal cage on the tongue that we locked up and lasted quite a while. It was still in company possession when I left. Nobody cut the circle lock on the box, but if they would have, they would have discovered that I bolted it down as well. Hard to see the bolts, so I always had this happy image in my mind of some turd hurting his back trying to lift a generator he didn't know was bolted. Expanded metal cage was not cheap!

Bolt it down? That's what we did with our 15k gens.
