Does anyone have a favorite guide / fly shop in the Bozeman area? Looking at a mid / late July trip.
Thanks in advance.

are you fishing the Gallatin south of Bozeman?

Gallatin River Guides is solid.

if you are just basing in Bozeman and fishing the Yellowstone, or the Madison, or in the park, then there are different answers.

Let me look around a little bit and I'll post again. I haven't been up there before. Mostly fish in New Mexico and Colorado.
Thanks

Maggie is a top notch guide and can get you in to some less crowded water in that area.

Looks by like we will be based out of Bozeman. 5 days in this area. Most likely looking for a float trip on Yellowstone and a wade day on the Gallatin, with a guide. The other days I think I will do some creek fishing on my own. Time, looks to be second week of July. Looking online, there are a lot of options. Thanks again, advance.

Floating the Yellowstone out of Livingston?

Go hang out in the Murray Hotel bar in the evenings.

Look up Phil Sgamma, excellent guide and an even better person. Tell him his old Aggie buddy Tex sent you!

I think he works for Montana Whitewater, thats what I had him under in my phone. Those guy's can make the rounds until someone pays them right.
