Vacuum Packed Cooked Brisket- still good?

Just wanted to get a quick poll.

Was gifted some wagyu brisket on dec1, its been cooked and vacuum sealed and was frozen when recieved. Put it in the fridge at work and totally forgot about it until today. Yes or No for eating this bad boy.

To be clear- it's a fully cooked brisket that spent a week and a half in a fridge, vacuum sealed?

If the brisket was frozen on Dec 1 when you put it in the fridge, it probably took a handful of days to completely thaw

Some of y'all obviously are not adventurous left over eaters. Two weeks should be good if you didn't contaminate it with spit, dirty silver ware, or fingers.

Assuming enough salt, enough smoke, it was packed hot, it was actually deep frozen for several weeks, and you're going to properly reheat it anyway, I'd say the refrigeration was just extra protection.

Assuming you put it in the refrigerator fully frozen it would take two days to thaw if your fridge is at 38F. Smell first. If it passes mustard reheat to 165F internal temp and have at it! It will be fine!

Sous vide it to 145 and it should kill all bacteria.

Id eat it. But I am not that picky to age of leftovers. If its been cooked and fridged I can go 8-10 days without thinking twice.

Funny, this one is actually the competition prime brisket. He had another pouch that was wagyu. I thought both were wagyu.
