Anyone here at LCRA, or know anyone that is?

I applied for a job that that I'm definitely qualified for, at least work experience wise, but I don't know anyone there to ask questions of, or get a foot in the door. Anyone here know anyone there?

Been staring at this ocean full of yankees for a while now. Ready to get back to Texas.

He works for Bluebonnet EC. I used to know people at LCRA but they all left for for PEC or Oncor. I work for Austin Energy.

I had an interview with them this spring. Seems like a tough pace to get hired on, but I've heard they do a good job of taking care of their employees now and making improvements on employee retention (as stated above, lots of guys leaving for other companies in the past..) Didn't get the job unfortunately. Good luck to you.

I've never met Giddings and it might be best for all parties involved that we never do.....

Between the beer and the hog hunting very little work would get done....

Maybe if you just hang around the river and watch for one of those dudes to pull up in a company truck. Let him know how good you are at flooding rice fields or whatever.

LCRA could pretty much careless about watering Rice Fields this day in age. They definitely aren't a friend of the Farmer anymore. Some offices are better to work with than others from what I heard but the whole organization could go pound sand.
