Looking at pulling the trigger on one or the other today for the new F350. This used to be pretty simple, but now it looks fairly complicated with both Weathertech and Husky having the hard plastic trays and a more maleable option.

Thoughts on the Weathertech HP vs their old standard Floor Liner. And how do they compare to the Husky X-Act Contoour vs Weatherbeater ?

This truck will be seeing a lot of work duty with dirt/mud/snow. I think I'd rather stay away from the hard plastic tray style, but if those are significantly better for heavy work use, then I'd consider them.

I've had both in the last 10 years or so and I'd say I like the Husky contour ones a little better.

The Husky's seemed to have a little more pliability and less plasticky.

Both did their job well though, so I don't think you can go wrong.

I've used the traditional Weathertech floor liners in my last two 2500HDs. I think I'd try to HPs since they're softer. The traditional hard floor liners can be slippery - which may not seem like a problem until you (or your passenger) are in something other than work boots.

Husky Xact. Soft and pliable with a good fit.

We have the Weathertech HP in my wife's pilot and Husky Xact contours in my Tundra.

I prefer the Husky's. The plastic is softer and more pliable vs the HP's. They also tend to stay in place much better.

Husky for sure. I bought a truck ~12 years ago that came with Husky and loved them. When I bought the next one ~4 years ago I compared both just to be diligent, and the big thing that made me buy Husky again is lots of reviews noted Weathertech liners moving around in the floor. Husky stays still so no brainer for me. Bought Husky for my dads as well at the same time and same experience.

The Xact are softer and more pliable as noted above. Wasn't sure I'd like them as I was used to the original version, but I'm a fan after owning them awhile.

Ordered a set of the Husky X-Acts. Thanks for the feedback.

When buying new vehicles and your price is figured, don't sign until they throw in the WT floor mats. Best thing I have done on the last couple purchases.

Has been a saver in the wife's suburban for the back seats and kids. Catches all drinks and crumbs.

Seeing as I pretty much paid Invoice on this truck, I wasn't going to rake them over the coals to get anything more....not in this market

I ran Husky's in my F250, really liked them.

They didn't have the color I needed for my Dodge when I had it, so went to Weathertech. Like the Weathertech's better. But my Husky's were the older more rigid plastic style.

Hoping these X-Act Contours are better than the old rigid liners. Supposed to be a little more flexible, so we'll see. Going to be running hot shot, so I'm sure my boots will be trashed several times when I get in. The basic floor mat styles won't work.

Had a similar question recently. I went Weathertech originals again, for the 3rd time. Bottom line - there's lots of good options out there.

I've owned both Husky and Weathertech (trash). When I bought my latest F250 I went with the OEM Ford rubber mats and I have been thoroughly impressed. They are fairly flexible and do not curl up like Weathertech and have not faded at all. You can get a mat for the back seat that goes across the width of the floor. Really good purchase.

I have had Husky in my F250 for a long time. My wife wanted weather tech when we got her tahoe. I'll never buy weather tech again, they were more expensive & are already wearing out. They're flimsy & bent and slide all over the place. The husky ones have been through the wringer and are still holding up. They are way more durable and still stay in place even though they're several years older.

Good looking truck! I put husky xact in my 2019 250 last year. Fit like a glove. Way better than WT.

For anything work related I wouldn't go with the soft mats. If you really want those just stick with the OEM rubbers. They'd fit better.

I went with weathertech HP trays in my F150. Kinda wish I'd have went with the Husky. Nothing really wrong with them except the large rear mat still has creases in it from shipping after a year of use. Also the front passenger mat has to use the teeth in the mat since I don't have a knob to catch he mat on. The teeth aren't that great and it always slides up. Just my opinion. They work great otherwise. Just don't let the car wash people put the black shine on them!!

I'm a fan of weather tech. I've had them in every truck since I started owning trucks at 16. They are a little less flimsy than the husky and less supple. Never had any issue with them being slippery.

Full disclosure: in my super duty right now is feed sacks on top of the weather tech liners. Lol

I have had to sets of max liners and 1 set of weather techs. I much prefer the max liners and they are quite a bit cheaper.

I've never had a problem with them. Al trucks are super duties and ranch work.

Come on man, it's the outdoors board. There are several of us who have ranch work to do. Your sack of cubes isn't impressing anyone.

Hell, I even go to HEB occasionally too.

Sit down and be cool. I missed out on f-in with people on the deer feeder thread and this is all I got.

I edited so as to remove the troll. :/

I have Weathertech's in both my truck and car. They are the exact fit, don't slide, fit well.

What I don't like is they are slightly tacky, and never seem to come completely clean. Other than that I habpve no complaints

I've had both. Husky, and it isn't close. Makes WT look like garbage.
