My uncle is general contractor for a guy building a house near Mount Vernon, TX. They pulled down an old Cherry bark oak to make room for the house. My uncle has milled all the logs he has capacity for, but he doesn't have the equipment to handle the rest of the tree. Cherry bark oak is supposed to be fairly rare and valuable for making furniture:

This is what's left of the tree. I stepped it off and from the root ball to the top it is about 30 feet.

Potentially interested. Do you have a definite time line for when you need it moved? Can probably get out there within the week but a construction site can have short time lines.

Do you have any better dimensions? At least a taped diameter or circumference?
