The beltman. Horsehide or cowhide w the reinforcement strip that makes it more solid/stiff (hold the jokes, teed that right up for someone). Good to go for a decade or more.

I have one from Wilderness, 1.5" with polymer insert. It's very stiff against sagging but otherwise flexible & comfortable.

5.11 makes some solid belts. Ranging from thick ones than handle large pistols well. I like their metal detector friendly one for EDC.

I like Magpul's belt options. Very sturdy and the leather looks good with jeans.

Kore Essentials belts are top notch ratcheting belts. HIGHLY recommend them. I have their dressy EDC be,ts, tactical belts and a battle belt. Really like the ratcheting style of belt.

I've settled on Bigfoot gun belts as my go to. I've found the steel core really helped make carrying a full size Cz75 comfortable. Reasonably priced and great wuality.

I have a couple beltmans as well and while nice, they were both overpriced, and sagged a bit when OWB carrying a full size. I still have those sitting somewhere but haven't worn them in years.

I have several Nexbelts. They ratchet every 1/4" so can get just like you want. Only caveat is only buy their EDC belt for carrying. They are stiffer than the standard belt.

I second Nexbelt. Been wearing one pretty much every day for a year and it works great. Favorite belt so far.

For leather, I love my Hank's Amish belts. For nylon, the Blue Alpha Gear hybrid with COBRA buckle is super sweet - it'll keep my pants up with a Coonan on my hip (a big iron on his hip....) all day long, comfortably.
