Who's the outfitter that several of y'all recommend in KS? I can't find the thread since it's greater than a year old.

There are so many released birds up there that the ones you shoot have basically been out there for a few years. You do not know the difference. If you go somewhere that tells you ahead of time that they do release birds don't let it scare you away. These communities live off of folks coming to hunt, and making every last part of the stay and hunt as enjoyable as can be. The released birds have a lower rate of survival so the ones that do live end up being as close to a wild as you would know.Mas89 said:

I've hunted here for last 5 years. Always a top notch experience. They surrogate birds in the fields to boost population, so not pen raised. They do a nice job cultivating habitat and have some milo strips planted to provide feeding plots near cover for the birds. Good outfit.Mas89 said:
