For all that is holy, can someone find a way to get rid of these ant's? They have taken over my property and much of the hill country.

I'm finding them everywhere now, my travel trailer, storage shed, and now inside my dang truck. Unfortunately, pest control can't keep up with the volume.

Tandem seems to be the only insecticide that keeps them at bay for a week, looks like I'll have to buy a bottle and start spraying to help pest control.

I haven't fought this battle, but we're it me, I would give Demon + IGR a try.

I always play Whitesnake music and they start dancing on the hood of my car. Easier to kill them that way.

"Get rid of" and ants simply don't go together.

If we were to poison the entire planet with every chemical imaginable as well as nuclear waste, the ants would still be dancing on the hood of abandoned cars.

Baits are waaaay better than insecticides for ants. Get some slow kill baits that are listed for crazy ants, a sweet one and a protein one, might be able to get a sweet+protein combo. And put them out wherever you see the ants. Whichever ones they feed on, keep checking and keep it well stocked. Let them eat all they want. In a week or two. They'll be gone.

The slow kill is the key (48 hrs +). It takes longer, but it works MUCH better. Lets the ants live long enough to take plenty of the poison baits back to the colony to share with the non-worker ants, larvae, and queens.

I like Maxforce Complete granules. Advion granules and gels are supposed to be very effective also. Not sure they're specifically listed for crazy ants though.

Edit: the Maxforce Complete that I use is labeled for Crazy ants. It's a sweet and protein combo, so ants should take it regardless of whether they're in a sweet feeding cycle or a protein cycle.

I had a complete infestation in my master bathroom and laundry room about a year and a half ago. Terro liquid bait dispensed in multiple areas of the tub, shower, and window sills killed all of them within a week.

It was a nasty process seeing literally tens of thousands of those things pour out of the walls and crevices and hit the bait. We didn't use the affected bathroom for several days so that they would hit the bait undisturbed. Once they were all dead I have remained diligent with applying Navigator SC around my house. I was also able to locate several outside colonies and eliminated them by pouring a five gallon bucket of water and orange oil over all of areas they were nesting in. I like the orange oil mixture outside because it is harmless to my grass and near shrubs where they like to nest.

Get rid of their what? It would help if we knew which of their belongings you want us to get rid of.

Fought them a bit last year, thankfully not inside my house.

Terro bait traps setup inside truck
D-Fense NXT aerosol around door jams & engine bay
Taurus SC along exterior perimeter of house, edge of driveway, and entirety of parking area
Bifen LP granules throughout yard

Bayer Top Choice.

One bag does over one half acre. Guaranteed to kill fire ants and all other stuff for one year, so I am sure it would work on Tawny, but I would not put it on my hood.

Expensive, yes. But it keeps my yard clear for about 2-3 years or more per application.

Mix Dominion 2L or Taurus SC with Pyriproxyfen Pivot 10 and spray all along the exterior house foundation, doors, windows, yard and so forth.

Maxforce Fleet Ant Bait Gel Is also good bait that gets ants under control fast can be used indoors.
