Looking for a comfortable IWB carry option. I typically wear jeans or slacks when out and about. About 30-40% of the time shirt tucked in, but I can probably get away with untucking it most of the the time .

I like the kydex click, but I hear it's not particularly comfortable for IWB. But I guess main requirement is comfort and concealability.

What carry position? Appendix? Strong side?

I use a T-Rex Raptor for appendix and a Comp-Tac MTAC for strong side tuckable. Lots of options out there. You'll likely go through several until you find one you like

Good question. I really don't have much experience with IWB holsters in various positions. Based on my body type and the places I'll likely be sitting (car, work, etc), I think a hip position might work well. Maybe I'll keep an eye on ebay for holsters that didn't work for others.

Holster comfort is dependent more on body type, holster position and quality of belt than kydex vs leather.

I've had comfortable kydex and uncomfortable leather, and much prefer kydex these days in general.

Make sure you're wearing a good gun belt. That helps comfort tremendously.

If you are able to untuck your shirt most of the time, carry OWB. You'll be much more comfortable.

After you get over the stigma, it's hard to beat a belly band holster for comfort and concealability. Usually wear golf shorts or jeans and a polo (tucked or untucked). Hard to beat
