You will not regret it. My husband was given a pellet grill earlier this year and it's been amazing. He cooks most of our week day and weekend meals/main dishes with it. It's nice being able to cook fast during baseball season/school year. I've seen all the other posts about this and haven't commented but this is coming from a family that also has a stick burner "real" pit and gas grill for quick stuff. The pellet grill has taken over all of them.

I don't think you will regret this. I know Cuisinart is a big brand, but others have been developing pellet cookers for much longer.

I'll be really interested to hear your review on the Lockhart. I have looked at that since it was introduced, and wondered how well the smoking cabinet works.

Looks like a very nice oven. What kind of smoker does your husband cook on?

Ok I am a Pellet guy, but gotta admit that's funny.

My two choices were between the cuinsart clermont and pit boss lockhart. the clermont gets hotter and has a counter

Yeah but the pit boss at least looks like a grill. That's gotta count for something.

I take that back. This one looks like someone mounted a toaster oven on a pellet smoker. And it's smiling at me.
