Just purchased a Stainless Mini-30 tactical for myself as I am a huge sucker for stainless on a rifle. To go with the stainless finish, I have the thought to get a scope to match the barrel.

Any thoughts or recommendations? Doesn't look like many people make a scope that's silver/stainless anymore since Leupold discontinued theirs.

Buy the one you want & have it cerakoted to match. I was in your same boat not long ago & just went with a black Swarovski & silver Leupold rings. You're right, the silver stock selections suck.

After I'd already ordered my Swarovski, I called Leupold custom shop & they said they get a ton of requests & will kote any of their scopes silver for you.

Burris used to make some silvers

Matching silvers is very tough. You will notice if it is off. Black is much easier to match, but still no cake walk.

Saw some ads for vinyl wraps, but that looks like a pain to install and not all that durable. Lots of price gougers on the secondary market for the used silver scopes.

This. I have a Browning X Bolt stainless gold medallion. Bought a Leupold stainless scope, but it looked bad. Took the pair to my gunsmith to get a cerakote that better matches.

Good the hear Leupold will do the 'kote now.

Leupold vx2 3x9. 40mm is a perfect fit if you can find one. This one may be 25 years old. Great scope and truck gun.
