Hey, we are taking the kids (6 and 9) to Orange Beach, Alabama in July. Anyone have recs for a family friendly fishing guide? Probably prefer in shore over deep sea unless it's super calm. Any other Orange Beach activity recommendations are welcome as well. Thanks!

Captain Bligh out of Zeke's Marina is a super nice guy. He doesn't catch anymore fish than the other guides but he's a great guy. Stay inshore.

Turquoise Place is the best place to stay.

Rent a pontoon boat for a day from the Flora Bama Beach Club or Harbor View Marina. Reserve it early, at least a couple weeks before you go. The Blue Angels do practice shows on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 11 or 11:30 AM and it's great to see from your boat. Call the Naval Air Station to confirm they are practicing that day as sometimes they are out of town or the weather is too bad. The water at Pensacola Pass is stunning and it's a great kid friendly place for them to search for hermit crabs. That's also where you watch the Blue's from.

Eat at the Oyster Bar in Perdido Beach and everybody likes Cobalts and Tacky Jacks because they have a great view of the bay action. Good Times on the Bay is a nice kid friendly place.

If it rains go to the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola and Joe Patty's. As a matter of fact, go do those two things even if it doesn't rain.

Orange Beach is paradise.

It's actually terrible. Keep driving on down to Destin.
