Looking for a good budget friendly Med/Med-Heavy Spinning Rod that i can pick up locally or order from Dicks/BPS/Cabellas/Academy etc. Price wise, 50-60 top end if possible but lower is always better. Anyone got any favorites?

Side note, if its a good spinning rod + a good reel, budget is up to 80-90 instead.

I am fond of Shakespeare ugly sticks, have used many of them growing up. Any particular one you had in mind?

I think the Academy branded rods H20 Xpress aren't too bad. Penn Battle series are solid as well.
