Looking to see how much landowners typically charge a guide to lease their property for dove hunts.

we use to get $25/gun/hunt but sure other outfitters just do a flat lease

The places in Houston Area are $250 per gun for the season.

I've heard some outfitters around here claim a few years ago, they'd give the landowner $2000 - $2500 for rights to day lease out 100 acres. I am not sure if that is still a current price or not? This was good hunting land across the street from the city limits.

The outfitter, in turn, charged $100 a day for hunters to come out and also sold 7-10 season leases too at $400 each. He broke even on just the season leases and then slammed part of it full of day hunters on opening weekend. That, and he hunted it whenever he wanted. I think he did fairly well with it, but you have to have a connection with the land. And, you have to have lots of birds, or you will be out of customers by year 3.
