You get further south than Victoria and you're effectively in the valley.

Depends where you're from. Those of us from Fort Stockton consider Brownwood east Texas.

For clarification, Southeast Texas is anything within 45 miles of Beaumont.

Yes, I realize that includes portions of extreme southwest Louisiana.

I can vouch for him since he is my youngen! LOL. Not sure where there is good hunting around that way. My last duty station was MS and we had great hunting there. I grew up around Tyler and live here now but he wants a lease closer to San Antonio or open to any suggestions.
