Want to add a 6.5 Grendel upper to my collection. Will be primarily a hog/yote gun. Can anyone recommend a complete upper? Just needs to be accurate & reliable. Not looking for the cheapest option, don't necessarily have to have the best.

This is the one I have had my eye on. Pretty sure AA created the 6.5 Grendel round. Do you have any experience with it?

6.5 Grendel upper from Bear Creek Arsenal with side charging handle for a little over $300 i believe. Works great on my Rock River lower.

Lots of options and barrel lengths at their website? Take a look. Already shoots 1 inch 3 shot groups on the 7th 8th and 9th shot. Not bad for the money?

Not their complete upper, but I'm running their factory 11.5" barrel on my pistol w/ pretty good accuracy. They're dedicated to the round. FYI their 129gr hand loads are the most accurate I've found and it's suitable for hunting.

I like that side charger.

If you think you might pick up a complete upper without a bcg, you may want to consider picking one up now. I just finished building my grendel and it took me a while to find one. BA still has some in stock.

My 12" pistol upper is PSA and has been great but theAGB is meh...

I have a BCA complete upper in 7.62x39 has run flawlessly, which surprised considering how inexpensive it was.

With stock so low I wouldn't hesitate to get the BCA, side charging looks interesting too.

You won't go wrong with an AA upper. I buy their 123gr Lapua Scenar and have been pleased.

Hard to beat the LaRue Ultimate Upper Kit.

Ordered a complete upper from atheris rifle. Not sure how good they are but its a small up and coming company. Use liberty barrels. Should be receiving it soon.

Sure they use liberty barrels? They... don't look like it unless their pictures are just not reflective of what they are currently producing.

Forgive me, I saw in one place they are machined from liberty blanks. Plan on reaching out to atheris about more of their uppers

What kinda ballpark price am I looking at for this setup?

Starting at $800. Usually $750 but I'm paying more on a few parts. Just depends on what handgard and comp you want.

Eyeguy just finished my 6.5 CM build with an Odin Works barrel. I LOVE it.

I'd love to have him build lightweight badass Grendel for me. Though I drove him crazy calling everyday on status...lol.
