Want to buy my father in law a windshield for the mule he just bought. Any recommendations for what and where to buy it? I am in Houston, but his place is in Caldwell so could be a place in between. Thanks.

You might want to call Kawasaki of Caldwell, or WRI in Bryan. My neighbor got his in Caldwell.

There is a place in Saginaw, Texas which is just north of Fort Worth that has the Best windshield for a Mule. They snap on the posts that hold the roof on. Then it is hinged so that it raises up when it is hot. I forget the name of the company as I am at my lease. If I remember it I'll repost another reply.

I went with the seizmik versa-fold windshield for my mule. I bought it through the dealer, but there are several places online that have it.

Essex Mfg. in Saginaw, Texas is who I bought my Mule windshield from.

What type of Mule?

I had the dealer put a windshield on my Mule PRO when I bought it, didn't think to ask too many details about it. It was a single piece 1/4 coverage or so windshield. Not bad, but not great.

I just replaced it with a Koplin folding windshield that covers the bottom half of the front opening when folded up and love it. Just enough coverage to hunker down behind when it's folded up to protect you from the rain or cold (took the buggy on a neighborhood ride last night and it was rather comfortable driving with it flipped up and no hat).

eBay has lots of custom built ones that fit the models exactly for a fraction of the cost of a dealer one. Search his model on there. Also if your getting a front, you will want a rear one too or the backdraft will drag lots of air born dirt into the cabin through the back window area. Even the windshields with small vents built in have the issue sometimes.
When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth!
