I plan to put my 9 yr old on a doe this season. Have a savage Axis II compact 7-08, but can't find the Hornaday reduced recoil ammo (or the Remington but they stopped making it) anywhere. I'm good on standard 7-08 but the reduced recoil ammo is excellent for small shooters.

Anybody have a spare box they'd be willing to sell to help get an eager youngster their first doe? Spent an hour searching online last night with the expected "back ordered" pretty much everywhere.

Live in BCS, would happily pay for ammo and ground freight. I know it's a long shot but thought I'd ask.

My son, also 9, is using the same stuff this year in his .243. Can't wait to see him shoot his first deer.

They'll go out tomorrow. Should easily be to you before the opener.
