I have been looking for a way to purchase the Daniel Defense DDM4ISR .300 blackout. Since it is integrated with a suppressor, the tag requirement makes it a challenge to find available on gunbroker or gun shows. Champion and Burdett & Son can't order. I'm okay with the wait time, but but tips on how I may be able to buy one? Thanks!

Call silencer shop or capital armory. Both are great and might be able to help you out

Thanks Bender, unfortunately they both are out of stock. I was hoping that the wait time/stamp would make these less attractive to the current demand.

Big Tex Outdoor's might be able to order it, but I'm not sure he has it in stock.

FWIW, I have no first hand knowledge of the performance of that gun, but from what I read on Arfcom and the like, the suppressor performance of that gun wasn't very good. It didn't get a lot of positive reviews like the thought it would, and they stopped production. Hence why it's hard to find now.

And this is coming from a Daniel Defense gun owner and unashamed fanboi.

Interesting. I knew the first generation had issues, but I thought the newer version had a better suppressor.

I heard the same thing about the Gen2 build of it. I don't have the numbers, but I'm assuming any even lightly suppressed + sub sonic that is 16" would be worth a small compromise in sound. Someone told me this week however, that a concern is the heat on the rail which normally is only covering a barrel but now a suppressor.

Just seems like a good hog setup though.

Yes, but by the time the stamp comes in, I'm hoping ammo will come down a bit.
