Anyone had any negative experience with mass produced reman ammo from someone like Freedom Munitions? With the ammo situation I'm looking for whatever I can get, sometime it's only Reman available , sometimes reman can save me 20% of the inflated prices. I know even factory new ammo can have quality issues.

Am I safe if I stick to larger manufacturer reloads, avoid all together?

I've never had issues with freedom munitions remans and I've gone through about 1000 rds of 9mm and 556 in the past

Eta: I did find 1 380 reload that somehow ended up in a box with 9mm from freedom, but that was the only issue

I have the following from Freedom and have experienced zero issues:

300BLk (sub and super)
9mm (FMJ and JHP)
45 acp (FMJ and JHP)

Everything I have shot from them has been great!

I love reman. I've got maybe 10k rounds through my 1911, maybe another 3k through my AR and another 1k through various 9mm's I own.

I buy and shoot On Target. (They've loaded for Freedom in the past, not sure if they still are or not.)

Yes sometimes the shoulders are dented on the .223. They run and fire fine. Yes sometimes you find an odd .380 in the 9mm. It happens. Just be observant and pay attention to what you're loading up. That's always good advice.

Reman from a reputable company like freedom = good

Reman from the neckbeard at the gun show in a ziplock bag = bad.
O.G.

Right and Reman /= reloads.

There's a whole remanufacturing process for the brass including roll sizing, flash hole clearing, deburring, trimming length, etc.

Thanks for all the input, I guess in my head I got reman ammo into the same category as reloads from some dude in his basement.

I'm gonna go ahead and pull the trigger when it's available
