Would this be a good starter bow for a beginner? Looking to get into it with something reliable and not break the bank. Know Hoyt makes good bows

I would say yes. Great broke in bow, low draw weight, all of the accessories are included, and great price for all of it. Just need to make sure it fits your draw length. Keep in mind that you will probably want to take it to a bow shop to adjust/tune it to your size, which might be around $100/$150.

Echo what jpb1999 said. This was my starter bow that I bought bare and had my uncle help me put the package together. He used to be into high end archery and traveled the country hunting and competing in USA Archery tournaments before he retired.

I was in the same boat and didn't want to break the bank starting out and spent around $650 on the setup when I got it all in 2014, except the target arrows were given to me by my uncle.

Lowest I'll go is $375. Heck of a deal for the bow and accessories at that price.

Sounds good. I'll circle ack around at the end of the month and buy it for that if you still have it. Thank you.
