Anyone switch to one of these? Any recommendations?

Not travelling for work and taking my wedding ring off all the time to go fishing and lifting weights I have made it a habit of not wearing my ring for the last few months.

Would like something I never take off.

I've been wearing one for a while. At first I just wore it for trips down to the coast, but, like it much better so nw it's pretty much full time. I just got cheap ones from Amazon

Wife and I have worn them for years. Love em. Only negative is I don't wear my Aggie ring when I wear it, so my actual wedding band and Aggie ring sit in my drawer most of the time now.

I have a couple of these:

Honor Eternity Ring Men's Silicone Ring Wedding Band https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076GX9KFR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_kKseFbWCVPKVE

I wear it all the time...never take it off...not actually sure where my original wedding ring is.

I have. You can go spend a lot of money on one but the wife got some for us for about 10 bucks a set on amazon and they came with a few rings with different colors...black, silver, etc.

I stopped wearing my wedding ring because roofing is tough on metal rings. When I'm not doing that my hands are buried in tractors and cars and farm work and the fact of the matter is it's just not that safe to have metal unyielding conductor items wrapped on your finger.

Whatever brand you get I do like mine a lot. I've worn the same one for a couple of years and it's still as good as it was when I got it. I'm a fan.

I wear my silicon bands more than my original ring nowadays, they're great.

My wife decided it'd be best if we wore them especially doing farm work so I wear one every day. It's pretty smart in my opinion especially when I'm climbing up in center pivot irrigation systems for work and in our own farm. I'm stubborn and still wear my Aggie ring because I can't really go without it The association should put together a silicon replica for those of us who probably should be wearing them while working with our hands.

She ordered them from amazon last fall and I'm still wearing the first one from the set of 3. They seem to be very durable.

I wear one more and more. Think it came from amazon but might have been academy. Like someone else mentioned, my Aggie ring is the bigger (literally) issue. I can't wear it nearly as much because it just gets caught on stuff or knocks into stuff.

I the silicone Aggie ring was suggested either here or in the H&F board a few years back. Most agreed it sounds good but just wouldn't work. I can't imagine one being made to look decent or even be recognizable as an Aggie ring.

I wore a qalo for a few years and loved it. Now with coronavirus and constant hand washing due to work I don't wear anything now.

I have a couple Qalo and like them. I actually lost my wedding band while fishing in Louisiana- I somehow dropped it in a gravel parking lot in a tiny lodge. So before I paid to replace it I bought a Qalo and really liked it. I did quit wearing my Aggie ring then though. A few months after losing my wedding band they found it in the parking lot and mailed it back to me.

But I prefer the silicone now that I rarely wear the real one. Much more comfortable and I don't worry about it fishing or swimming or exercising or whatever.

Just know that silicon bands tend to trap moisture and your ring finger might eventually look like a prune where the ring sits if you leave it on there long enough. Some brands like groove have little notches cut into the underside to help with airflow and drying out but even they aren't perfect. You'll still need to take it off periodically.

I have a groove that I got for exercising and working outside, and did wear it quite a bit when I first got it, but as of late I've mainly gone back to my gold band.

Husband wears these bands and really likes them. He broke his wedding band within our first month of marriage (my fault, I bought a tungsten band that shattered) so they are all he wears now. Much cheaper than the qalo rings, which we initially looked into. I do wish we could find a silicon Aggie ring too because he has lost that before and can't wear it at his current job.

This. Due to Covid, I simply quit wearing rings so I could wash my hands more effectively.

Mr Dubi never wears one.

I wear a ThunderFit ring, which you can get a pack of on Amazon for cheap. I started wearing a silicon band around 8 years ago, they are great. I used to travel a lot for work, constantly changing environments, my hand would shrink and swell, several times the ring would just come off when I was washing may hands or something else innocuous. I was worried I'd lose it, even thought it wasn't an expensive band. Silicon band also doesn't dig into my hand when working out. If I lose it, no biggie, I've got others. My wife ended up buying some as well so that she doesn't have to worry about losing hers. Highly recommend if you're considering getting one.

I've tried working with my gold ban and a silicon ring. It just isn't practical. Way too much hand washing and/or hand sanitizer. On days that I work I just go ringless. On my off days I wear the gold band.

I've been wearing one for years. I work in commercial animal housing so wearing a ring around feed augers, manure pits, etc is no bueno. As stated above, get one with a way to vent moisture.

in my recent experience, I'm not sure anyone on this campus can fathom an Aggie working with their hands anymore.... sad actually.

Had one for a while. I didn't like how squishy it felt and the fact that it felt like it took forever to get soap off of it when washing hands. Wife uses one as primary wedding ring and seems to really like it.

"Criticizing " would not be the word I would use. I'm teasing the OP because most women are really insecure over their husband not having a ring.

Love mine. Ironically as I'm getting older my G-shock watch and silicone ring have replaced my expensive metal dive watches and platinum wedding ring most days. Working out. Ranch work. Travelling. Garden and yard work. I just prefer them now and have no concerns with them getting dirty, beat up, or lost.

Lol at the idea of a dog food expert knowing how "most women" feel about wedding bands.

Lots of folks I know on the H&F board wear silicone rings. You might ask over there. I believe they sell them at the Brazos Running Store if you are local to BCS, so you can try one one before you buy.

If I'm ever at the altar again, my every day carry for a ring will be one of these.

You're projecting. If you have a ****ty marriage that doesn't mean everyone else does.

???
I could not possibly care less whether my husband wears a wedding ring and not sure what I said that indicates I am insecure about it. Seems like you're projecting some of your own relationship issues onto a stranger on the internet.

His Aggie ring is too big and has fallen off a few times. Want to read into that one too?

When doing physical activities, I have worn a QALO for a couple years now after almost losing my wedding band at the deer lease. Switched to Groove Ring last Fall. Has grooves inside to allow water to pass so it doesn't slide off my finger when it gets wet. They have a better selection as well.

My wife got me one from Enso. They have grooves on the inside to allow breath ability. Also they have a life time warranty. I have broken a couple and just send an email to customer service and a new one arrives in about a week.

They also have them in various colors and styles. I prefer the metallic ones.

Really? We can figure out how to grow maroon bluebonnets but we can't figure out how to mold gold pigment into a product that china can mold in every color imaginable and do it with the same mold as the Aggie Ring....and then sell it for 50 bucks to all of us suckers?
