Anyone using this? I have gas lantern that works pretty good, but just found out about the rechargeable model...

I use the streamlight lanterns that come in a couple different sizes. I have the older ones I think they have a new one that is over a $100 haven't tried that one. I have the small one and a regular siege and have been happy with both.

I have been interested in the thermacell radius and other models for the back porch. Interested to see what advice you get.

Never tried the battery ones- I'm very intrigued.

I can tell you, the standard thermacell works really well- unless it's breezy/windy.
