I just went through a pricing drill on this and ended up just ordering a LaRue Ultimate Upper kit. Ended up being the best value.
You can order a lower from LaRue for $199 with it. I'm in just under $1100 for a complete rifle minus optic and mount. I will be out another ~$80 for the suppressor mount to match my Dead Air. The upper kit comes with a trigger and lower parts kit already. Just have to assemble it. Hell, if you don't want to assemble it, they have free upper assembly right now.Sam Williams said:mts6175 said:

Second this. I don't understand the love/hate people have with larue. The 6.5 G upper kit has absolutely everything you need minus the lower receiver. The fit and finish is nice, gun performs well. Are there better 6.5 G out there? Absolutely, but for the price you are getting a kit that will make a really nice rifle and IT HAS ALL THE PARTS!
Assembling a rifle for the first time is a lot of fun, but can be challenging at times, especially if you don't have some of the tools that make it easier. Do yourself a favor and order a rifle kit that has all the parts and pieces you need for a first time assembly.
