Found this guy while demo of old deer blind - black with red spot on belly. For size ref it is on the side of a 2"x4".

When it was dispatched it was very squishy and filled with lots of "liquid"?

That's what I thought but isn't the red spot on their back?
OK should have googled it - "red hourglass shape on underside of abdomen". First one I have ever seen in person, and I will admit it startled me a bit as my face was pretty close when ripping the floor out....

They love old deer blinds. Killed one a couple weeks back moving a blind.

Can also have a red spot, not hourglass shaped, on their back end.

We had a few here, until black mud daubers got them.
