This is what I'm planning on putting on my SBR.

Why not do a pistol build instead? The SBA3 is basically a stock anyway, makes no difference to me. Slap a can on there and then you don't need to report in to cross state lines

Depends on what your primary goal with the stock is.

If weight is a concern, MFT minimalist or old school CAR.

Length, but don't want to use proprietary BCG parts or a folder? LWRC UICW.

In general I like the B5 sopmod best on most guns for most things, and that would include sbrs.

I prefer the Magpul CTR. For me it feels like the best most well rounded option.

I have the Magpul STR on my 300BLK. Its pretty solid and does what I want it to do, but if I was going to upgrade I'd go with the VLTOR.

Folders suck. Unless you absolutely need one.

They're the equivalent to having an unchambered round (from a time perspective). Or most likely more.

That's the nice thing about the Dead Foot Arms system. Their folders can be fired folded...even on full auto.

Yeah.....if you want to tolerate proprietary parts from the BCG back. If my memory serves correctly.

It is. That's the only way to get the function they offer.

Give me some details about that second weapon. Is that an MCX? Difference between that and the MPX? I'm seriously considering buying a HK SP5 if I can find one, so it would likely be one or the other (not both) although I like your idea.

I have posted a few threads asking various questions about a 300blk build. Im now on the fence about whether to make it an SBR or do a pistol build. It's a Ballistic Arms/Aero upper/lower compilation and an 8" barrel. Planning to run a trash panda with it.

How much functionality, comfort, stability, etc. do I lose by going with an SBA3 or 4 vs stock? I've never shot a pistol brace and the idea of saving the stamp is very appealing.

Go with either the SBA3 or SBA5 brace. Skip the 4. I tuck/roll the rubber ears of my SBA3 brace and it is no worse than any magpul stock out there. You do pay a premium for the brace over some stocks but you skip the $200 permission slip.

I went ahead and ordered the SBA 5. Thanks for the feedback.
