Time for a new battery. Any recommendations?

Watching. I don't need one yet but have been considering a larger maybe an Optima as I add more accessories all the time. There is space in the battery box. Some of the guys on the mule facebook site have gone to two batteries I am not sure I want to go that far but it is a factory kawasaki kit for two batteries.
Sounds like he has a really good wench though....Brazos1865 said:
A "wench" and a winch don't typically use the same batteries...
They are a solid machine. Not nearly as fast as the Rangers, but more robust and better built overall IMO (which is limited, admittedly). Biggest thing for me that swayed me to the Mule was the ability to change seat configurations without modifying the wheel base and the 3 year warranty that is standard. I drive the hell out of mine, it's just fun.kyledr04 said:

I just got a Can-Am Defender XD8 and so far love it. I looked long and hard at the Mules but went for the v-twin engine instead.schmellba99 said:They are a solid machine. Yes, the current holdup is getting approval from the feds on the repair. It's silly that something like this warrants a stop sale order, but apparently that's how these things work - when a recall is issued, the DOT (I assume) must approve the corrective measures. I have a couple of recalls on mine at the moment, none of them are anything major and I still use my buggy almost daily.kyledr04 said:
I read on one of the Kawasaki forums that there's a stop sale right now because of a recall. I might go buy one otherwise. Would be fun since we're stuck at home.
There's very few used ones for sale and the prices are so close to a new one that its probably not worth it.

I'm looking right now. Just need a lower priced machine that I will leave at the deer lease. Only carry one or two people and terrain is mostly flat but does have some muddy creek/river crossings. Kinda narrowed it down between a Mule 610 or Polaris Ranger 570 either new or used. Interested in any opinions. .

Somewhat related.... I have been watching prices on rangers and noticed a couple of 2019s that have been sitting on the floor for a while have gone up in price in the last week. What the hell? Are they expecting stimulus checks to buy Rangers? If you're getting a stimulus check, you probably shouldn't buy a ranger.
They will all do that, it comes down to things like options, comfort, warranty, etc.Sodadude said:
Question about these contraptions. I've never been in one. I just need to be able to haul 6 people up an average 13% grade (steeper in some parts) for a quarter mile. Will all of the major players (CanAm, Kawasaki, Polaris, Honda, etc) accomplish that task easily? Looks like these run $10-15k -- will that be good enough to accomplish my task?
