I was fiddling around with the red brake parts on my bait caster (and I think they are called brake shoes) shown below and one fell off. Can't find it.

I haven't found these little parts online. And I can't find the original box around the house which may contain replacements.

Anyone know where I can get these little red guys?

Should be called, or used to be, a "break collar",, do a google search and you should come up with some options for your specific real. Hope that helps.

Getting the weight right would be a nightmare.

I have been tearing the garage apart looking for it as I believe you are correct: there should be some spares in there.

Unfortunately that is not the same part. Will try to find these on one of the exploded reel diagrams though.

It seems a reel repair shop should be able to fix you up. There's one here in old down town Katy.

if you bought it from Academy they will replace it. I had one replaced no questions asked.

Update:

I found the right model - Curado 200i - exploded diagram with the right part number. Ever other diagram I found was the reel with six brakes while mine has four. In any event i ordered directly from Shimano for 6 bucks and got five new brakes: one to replace the lost brake and a full set of four more.

The brake shoe with the black dot is the new one.

Really not sure how much difference it's gonna make since I'm not catching sh t anyway LOL.
