Looking at buying for everyday carry. I am sure the best answer is go shoot them and see which one feels the best but I would like to hear pros and cons from anyone that has owned one or all of these.

Glock 43

M&P Shield 2.0

Sig P365

I just bought a p365. Liked the profile and feel better than the 43, and holds similar number of rounds. Shield is maybe slightly smaller than 365 but is a single stack with considerably less capacity.

Look up hickock45 review of the p365 on YouTube. He compares all three briefly.

SIG is at least marginally attractive

43 or 365. Or the shield if price is low enough.

The P365 felt great in the game and would have bought it had I not gone for the Springfield 45 XDS

The p365 with the green floating dot sight is pretty cool

365 is a lot more comfortable to carry. Glock is a brick in my opinion. All 3 are somewhat snappy, but the 365s ergonomics help to reduce recoil. The Shield would be my second choice.

Look at the Springfield Hellcat as well. Rented one last month and it was a great shooter.

Add the Hellcat to that list.

I have the 3 you listed. Shield and Glock are the same but shield is cheaper. I like the way the shield points better.

I bought the sig and it pretty well made the others obsolete.

Pocket a LCP II, summer sig 365 and OWB G19.

How's the 365 trigger compared to glock?

Can definitely agree. I bought one last week and it's a great gun.

Different. It is personal preference. I really don't think I can say which is better they are too different.

There are aftermarket for all 3.

Ruger LC9s (or the cheaper EC9s)...outstanding trigger, my two have been flawless in performance. Both of mine are the "Pro" versions, no manual safety...which is no longer available. That can be a deal breaker for many.

The EC9s can be found for $210-225-ish (at least it was before the current craze).

I'd suggest a Glock 43X model. Same size as all the others.

With an aftermarket magazine from shieldarms, you are 15+1 capacity. Low cost. https://shieldarms.com/

This yields....You get the high capacity in a flush mag, Glock quality and dependability, in the smallest package. Pretty awesome combo for a carry gun.

The standard Sig 365 is my favorite out of all of them.

All of them have positives, but IMHO, it's just the better all around.

Hellcat: love the feel, especially the optics version. Perceived recoil is snappier for some reason, and I like the 365 trigger quite a bit better---neither are outstanding, but the Hellcat has a springy "crunch" vs a soft pull, then "break" in a 365. I like the "mushiness" of the 365 and 320s (best I can explain it).

Glock 43/43x. I love Glock, but I never cared too much for the 43 series--personal preference. It has always felt a bit chunkier than its measurements YMMV.

S&W: I have never cared for the hinged trigger.

Edit: Also, the Hellcat only has a front tritium. I prefer 3 dot tritium OR at least a single reference tritium dot at the bottom of the U rear. A bit of short-sidedness on Sprinfield's part seeing that the standard 365 comes with three-dot tritiums.

Good explanation of the Sig trigger.

Thank you for taking the time.

I have a 9mm Shield Version 1. I owned two many years ago, but later sold them. Palmetto State Armory had them for $249 up until this mad rush. I picked one up in January. Great gun.

The Shield 2.0 feels great in the hand. But, I have read many comments that claim the aggressive texturing will tear up the skin on your side, unless you wear an undershirt. So, be aware of that. Of course, you could put one of those stick on grips over that to solve that problem.

I also think the trigger on the Shield is better than a Glock trigger.

I rented a Glock 43x twice in the past month, and I already have a Glock 48. I was considering getting a 43X, but changed my mind. I will say that the felt recoil on the 9mm Shield is less than the recoil on the Glock 43x. The Glock 43 has an even smaller grip than the 43x, so the recoil will likely be a bit more on the 43 compared to the 43x.

The Shield shoots like a much larger gun. It is impressive how it tames recoil.

I would give you the link to the Shield Version 1 for sale at PSA - They went up $30 last week. But, it looks like they are all sold out. So, ya missed out on that one. Sorry.

I found that I like the Glock 48 much more than the 43X or 43, though....

But, if you want a very small gun, like the ones you listed... I like the Shield better.

I personally carry larger guns. So, I have not looked at the double stacks like The Hellcat or 365. I carry my Glock 48 or an Hk P2000 most of the time. If I need something smaller, that is what the Shield is for.
