My Redbud trees are starting to bloom. That is always the signal to start creek fishing. Headed out this morning.
The Trinity is high and so is the creek. Water was muddy and no fish could be found. The shoals are deep enough to get over in a boat .
Hope to get back over there early next week. I will file a report when I find the fish,

Wow, takes me back to the 70's when we used to trek up to the shoals and haul out 50 -100 w/bass
Using a tree limb as a stringer. They use to stack up like salmon at the shoals. Backs out of the water and all.
