Does anyone know of anybody that has an old squeeze chute sitting around that they'd be willing to sell?

I'm not looking for anything pretty or new...Ugly and functional is all I need for maintenance work on our small herd (<10 head).

Be sure to test how "functional" it is before hauling it off.

Speaking from experience...

I know a fellow rancher who has a like new priefert head gate for sale.

Any idea what he'd be willing to let the head gate go for?

Its a priefert and is getting refurbed like new at Priefert.
Will have to get $500.
Sells for around $1000 new

There is a guy in Kosse that has been fixing some old ones up and putting them on Facebook Marketplace. He has one listed currently. Beware, though. We made an agreement that he was going to deliver one to me and never showed up or answered my calls after that. It then got marked as "sold" so I guess he got another offer that he liked better.

If you are willing to make the drive, I have one in the Texas panhandle you can have for nothing. It's not great, but it is functional. We just replaced it with a priefert since we added to our herd, it was inefficient to run 100 head through it so we made the upgrade.

I know a guy that might be willing to make the drive.

My two headgates for sale are model 91 and model 85.
They are both at Priefert being refurbed. Couple of weeks away from pick up. They will basically be brand new.

Having ran cattle for a close to 50 years, unless you have a lot of cattle a head gate is the way to go. The two from being refurb at prefiert are basically a new head gate at a bargain price. You cannot go wrong buying and putting them to work. I can tell you this much I bought a WW chute years ago, wish now I had went with Prefiert knowing they will refurb. your chutes and head gates.

They don't make them like they used to.

I hate to piggy back off OP, but I may be looking for one as well, put in for 10 acres and they accepted the bid. Putting that ansc degree to use.

Check w/your local vet clinic. Sometimes they have a loaner & will let you borrow theirs if you buy the vaccines & meds from them.

Ill give them a shot when it i need it....shoot i need it all, trailer, chute, tractor land clearing. Im going to be busy and poor lol

an "available used squeeze chute" for sale is as rare as an "available deer lease" ... good luck

Btw, I found my deer lease... still looking for my squeeze chute... so there us hope!
