How long do you want to ignore this user?
Wasn't there a thread not too long ago about Fort Stockton places to eat? I tried searching but couldn't find it so thinking it may be too old. Headed back from Big Bend today and hoping to find some good food (maybe even BBQ?)

Depending on which way you're coming back, if you want good bbq stop by Brick Vault in Marathon.

I generally stay in Fort Stockton when I go out to El Paso. I always eat at Beinvindos Mexican Restaurant. A hotel clerk recommended it about 8 years ago and I just keep going back when I pass through. I like the Chile Releno.
Its locate across the street from Dairy Queen.

The only other thing I can add is the LaQuinta has a Texas shaped waffle maker...

I think that's the place I ate at a few times when I lived in AZ and would use Ft. Stockton as a stopping point too and from.

The rest of the choices are your standard fast food fare if I remember- not a whole lot in that area, it's basically a big rest stop.

Brick Vault was the correct answer if driving through Marathon. There are more options in Alpine. Not much in Ft. Stockton other than fast food.

There is a really good Mexican food restaurant by K-Bobs, I forget the name though.

Mingo's Burritos is another good spot with some of the ones already mentioned.

La Posada is another good Mexican place.

Z Fusion is a food truck that serves some good Thai and Asian

Ended up at B's Family Dining. It was definitely worth the stop. Burger, chili, grilled cheese, and other sandwich were all awesome and very reasonably priced (less than $20 for two to eat).

Would highly recommend if you aren't trying to pick between all the Mexican food places. If I'm ever in the area for lunch I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Only open from 11-3
