Dog is 13yo Golden. He's been slowing down recently, but has no problems other than getting old. Last vet visit was a month ago.

This week I've noticed one eye is droopy. Seems to be dropping more this week than last. He is in no obvious pain or discomfort.

I'm thinking I'll bring him to the vet unless you think this is normal/fine.

Looks like a 3rd eye lid issue and not really an eye issue.

Probably got irritated, not the worst thing in the world to check with a vet about. But also will probably take care of itself in a few days. Is the pup favoring that eye? Rubbing it more with paws or against your hand or Furniture?

Vet may prescribe a good antibiotic and/or a combo with some dexamethasone to relieve swelling.

Thanks. He doesn't seem to care at all, and I've been looking for signs of discomfort or annoyance.

Does the eye appear to be sunken in? Could be horners syndrome.

That's what it was. They're gonna give him some antibiotics and anti inflammatory but she said it might never go away since he's so old.
