How long do you want to ignore this user?
Looking at the Harvester 300. Main use will be on my 6.5CM but would like to be able to use it with my .223 AR as well.

Good? Bad? Indifferent?

This will be my first suppressor.

Thanks!

Check out the varminter 4.0 also.

Mounting system sucks but the can is fine. Be very careful to make sure it's on there or you'll send it down range

Edit: this one is direct thread. Remember you'll have to buy inserts for each thread pitch you want to use it on. They're like $70 a pop I believe

The trifecta mad mount does suck. Speaking from experience. Mine is four years old and freezes up occasionally making it a "pain in the ass release" not a quick release. Then I decided not to crank it down and launched it off of my 300blk. Landed a foot away from the creek bank in the mud. I just got another one with an ASR mount. Haven't shot it enough yet to have an opinion.

Highly suggest the Q "plan b" mount. Love it on my omega

I have an ASR QD on my Harvester 300.

I have one and it's great for the range and hunting. It does direct a small amount muzzle blast toward me in a blind. I prefer my Gemtech Tracker a bit more and falls in the same category, but would not be interchangeable with a 223 without a muzzle adapter and I'm scared to use one. The Harvester 300 is interchangeable and you can purchase a QD mount that replaces the single thread insert.

Harvester is 9 inches long. No thanks. That's stupid long and I don't care if it's 500 bucks. That's ridiculous long Plus it has all those barrel restrictions. 556 minimum is 16 inches. With that suppressor you're taking 24 inches out there

Have 4 surefires.

7.62 rc2
7.62 rc2 mini
556 rc2
300 sps.

If I did it all over would have gone 762 mini for everything.

If you're only planning on 6.5 and down, treat you're self to a 6.5 can. The Thunder beast arms 6.5 in 7in is fantastic. And their mounting system is the best on the market, IMO.

Why's they say is right:

It's junk.

Think about your long terms needs so you can have one that crosses multiple calibers. Just bought my 2nd and hope to get the stamp for it in 10-14 months.

Also, look at doing a trust vs individual for ease of transfer/use of family members etc.

IMO everything with suppressors is a trade off. You need to make a priority list for things like length, weight, sound reduction, durability, mounting options, etc. Then find the suppressor that checks the most of your highly rated boxes the best at a price you are willing to spend. For me it was an omega a few years ago. I run it on a ASR mount without the anchor brake on several rifles from 30 cal down with no complaints.

Thanks for all of the responses! I need to just suck it up and order something...this is the 3rd time I've gotten serious about jumping into the suppressor world. Each time I end up over-researching my way out of making a decision!
