How long do you want to ignore this user?
I recently purchased two used ontime analog feeding units. I am replacing the clock on one of them (lead time was to long for a warranty fix and clock was cheap enough). I am having trouble getting the dial to stay on the new clock. The dial slides off the clock and then doesn't rotate with the clock. I was curious if anyone has any experience with these timers? I've heard a little glue helps but I'm not sure how precise the location needs to be. I'm going to send the old clock in for warranty but needed a replacement ASAP. Any held would be much appreciated!

I use ontime on all my stand alone feeders. I use to have various problems with the old analog clock face and sent a few back over the years for repair. It sounds like you may be missing a shim/washer or 2 that keeps the clockface tight on the dial. You should be able to go to TSC or Home depot and get some small machined washers to place between the dial and the face to give it a tighter fit.

here is a pic of the analog kit from midway usa, you can see the small washers

I actually went through and coverted my last 2 analog feeders to digital. Its really easy to remove the old analog clock (either unscrew or drill out the rivet) and replace with the digital face from Ontime. It took me less than an hour to covert both of mine sitting on the tailgate of the truck. They have them on Amazon

Thanks for the feedback. It seem like the problem is the dial shaft is slightly tapered and the clock face backs off the taper. If I add washers to the outside would it bind the clock face against the time adjustment knob?

We use OnTime exclusively in our club feeders. Best move we ever made was switching them all to digital. You'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner...
