There are 6 memphis grills in my family. My parents have 2 (house and bay house) and all the 4 of us kids have 1. All of ours are the pre-wifi versions.
They are fantastic, albeit expensive. I've used mine to cook at least part of dinner every day this week. Love that I can cook brisket low and slow at 225 or use it as a pizza oven at up to 650F with great temperature control. You won't get as much smoke as an offset, so I do help that by throwing in an amazen smoker tube for smoked meats (uses the pellets I'm already using to add more smoke). I often use it as a replacement for my oven.
The higher temps on the memphis are really nice. I usually grill at around 475 to get good grill marks without having to using the grill insert.
Its is now the only grill I use. I no longer have a gas grill or a grill dome. It is simple enough that my wife has no issue using it either, something that would never happen on the grill dome.
The one in the outdoor kitchen at the coast has been there for 5 years and still looks great even though its in the salt air 24/7.
